The project that promotes West Nordic cuisine  and culture

We are looking for new and innovative ways to build networks and develop a student exchange programme based around the cuisine and culture in the Nordic countries .

Co-operation

The project’s foundations are based in a co-operation between chef schools, hotels, airlines, tourists boards and other participants who are interested in promoting their countries through cuisine and culture.

The project

As there is an ever-increasing demand for new experiences through travel, Act Cool is a unique tool for the West Nordic countries to connect its authentic cuisine with the food tourism market. The project will encourage participating countries to use locally grown produce in order to support their own communities, reduce food waste which has significant environmental impact, as well as giving their clients a true taste of their country.

Act Cool is a new and innovative project that encourages and promotes knowledge and respect for Nordic cuisine and culture.
