Where are we? Well, Glymur Resort is located on the northern side of the "Whale fjord" only 45 minutes from downtown Reykjavík. From Reykjavík you should take route 1 to borgarnes. Once you are out of Reykjavík and Mosfellsbær you drive for about 15 minutes where you can choose if you want to go around the fjord on route 47 which takes about 15 minutes longer than the tunnel but offers a more scenic view.

Then you will continue about 50 kilometers and find the Resort on the right side of the road. If you go through the tunnel you will take a right on the roundabout and continue further for 10 minutes where you take a right on to route 47. There you will find Glymur Resort sitting peacefully on the left side of the road.
